Three Men Arrested After Stealing $26,000 in Construction Materials

WINNIPEG – Two men from Winnipeg are facing charges after stealing construction materials.

Wednesday, July 25th police responded to a robbery call at a construction site in the area of Templeton Avenue and Pipeline Road.

When officers arrived they stopped a vehicle that attempted to leave the site. Three people were taken into custody and a search of the vehicle resulted in the recovery of stolen metal worth approximately $26,500 that had been taken from the construction site.

Police said they arrested Jesse John Trea Fitch, a 25-year-old man from Winnipeg, and charged him with:

  • Theft Over $5000
  • Fail to Comply with Probation Order (x2)
  • Fail to Comply Condition Recognizance by Judge/Justice (x3)

Alexander Donovan Houle, a 26-year-old man from Winnipeg, was charged with:

  • Theft Over $5000

And a 25-year-old man from Winnipeg was arrested for theft over $5000.
