Two Winnipeg Men Face 2nd Degree Murder Charges

WINNIPEG – Two Winnipeg men have been charged with second-degree murder in connection with the death of Adam Martin on January 1, 2019.

Martin was shot and killed outside of a home on Nairn Avenue. Police believe he was socializing at the home when he got into a verbal argument with two men. It escalated into a physical altercation before he was shot.

On January 3 police arrested 18 year-old Samuel Zanen Moneyas and charged him with second degree murder as well as failing to comply with an order of recognizance.

On January 4 police located and arrested 22 year-old Storm Alexander Moar. He was charged with second degree murder, and multiple weapons charges.
