WINNIPEG – Winnipeg police are investigating two separate homicides that have taken place within nine hours of each other.

The first was on May 24th at 5:20 PM., when a man was found deceased at a home on Greencrest Avenue.

Then, early this morning, at approximately 2:45 AM., police received a report of an injured person on Simcoe Street. When they arrived they found a woman who had been stabbed. She was taken to hospital in critical condition where she was pronounced deceased.
