Tyndall Park Man Killed by Neighbour in Dispute

WINNIPEG – A 66 year-old Tyndall Park man is Winnipeg’s 15th homicide of the year after he was struck and killed in what police describe as a highly preventable road rage/neighbour dispute.

66 year-old Calvin Chan was attempting to backing a boat into his back lane garage near Burrows Avenue and Albina Way when the suspect attempted to drive through. After a short argument, the suspect struck the victim and he fell to the ground. He was taken to hospital in critical condition and died a few hours later.

24 year-old Dennis Lloyd Jr. Penner has been charged with Manslaughter.

He was detained in custody.
