Members of the Major Crime Unit now believe that the fire that took the life of two individuals and hospitalized two more was non-criminal in nature.
The fire took place on October 26 on Prince Edward Street and was under investigation by the Major Crimes Unit. Tow individuals were discovered deceased inside the home and two more – a 54 year-old woman and a 17 year-old man – were taken to hospital.
Further inquiries should be directed to the Manitoba Office of the Fire Commissioner.
