WINNIPEG – The province has finally released its vaccine priority list.
It’s primarily based on age, with older Manitobans getting inoculated first.
Dr. Joss Reimer says the rollout will happen in four stages and they’re optimistic people over 80 will start getting their shots in March.
It’s hoped all adults can be vaccinated by August, depending on supplies from Pfizer and Moderna.
Some groups, like the Manitoba Teachers’ Society, are critical of the plan because there’s not a separate category prioritizing essential workers.
