On November 14, a violent man robbed a 43-year-old victim at gunpoint.
At 2:20 pm. police responded to a call of a violent man in possession of a gun at a business on Ellice Avenue. When they arrived the victim informed them that he was robbed of his cellphone at gunpoint.
The suspect was found at another business nearby and arrested. When he was searched police found crack cocaine, 37 Percocet pills, $252.00, a cell phone and a purse.
21 year-old Dion James Bear has been charged with armed robbery, pointing a firearm, carrying a concealed weapon, possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and possession of proceeds of property obtained by a crime.
He has been detained at the Winnipeg Remand Centre.
