Wanted by Police in Winnipeg & Brandon

WINNIPEG, MB – Many law enforcement agencies in Manitoba provide pictures and details of individuals that are wanted by police.

Brandon Levi Choken


In June of 2009, Brandon Police responded to a disturbance inside a home in the 300 Block of Frederick Street. Police found that Choken had became angry and grabbed two kitchen knives. He then became aggressive towards others in the home while holding the knives causing the others to feel threatened. Further investigation into this disturbance revealed that Choken also forcefully held down a young child causing bruising to the child. Choken was arrested for Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose and Assault in relation to these incidents. He was released to attend Court on November 9th 2009 however failed to attend.

Brandon police have issued a warrant for his arrest and is asking anyone with information to call Brandon Crime Stoppers @ 204-727-TIPS (8477).

Gary Carriere


Gary Carriere is a convicted armed robber and was supposed to be sent to prison for 34 months. Instead he was granted early parole on December 20th, 2017.

Carriere has since vanished and has not been seen since January 2nd, 2018. Parole has been cut short and replaced with a Canada wide warrant.
