WINNIPEG, MB. – Winnipeg police said this morning in a press release they have made an arrest in Transit assault that happened on November 4, 2017.
In a release this morning, police said they have located and arrested the suspect pictured in this story.
He has been charged with Assault Cause Bodily Harm, and released on a Promise to Appear.

WINNIPEG, MB. – Do you know this man? Winnipeg Police are asking for the publics help identifying and locating him.
On November 4, of this year, a serious assault occurred on a 28-year-old women who was riding a Winnipeg Transit bus around 7:30PM in in the area of Portage Avenue and Balmoral Street.
Police said in a release, two unidentified parties on the same bus began to argue. The victim, the women, attempted to calm the situation when a third, unidentified male passenger approached and became confrontational. This man struck the woman in the face causing significant facial injuries. He then fled out the rear door of the bus.
Police describe the man as being in his late 20’s to early 30’s, dark haired goatee, approximately 6’ feet tall with a skinny build. At the time he was wearing a brown or orange tuque, green parka, blue jeans and work boots.
Police are asking anyone with information that may assist investigators is asked to call 204-986-6219 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
