WINNIPEG, MB – The Winnipeg Blue Bombers on Tuesday announced a pair of International signings for the upcoming season.
The Blue and Gold signed International defensive back Teven Homer along with International receiver Corey Washington.
Washington was signed in 2014 by the Arizona Cardinals as an undrafted free agent after a four-year collegiate career split between Georgia Military and Newberry College. The 6’4, 214 pounder from North Charleston, SC totaled 147 receptions for 2,396 and 34 touchdowns in college.
Homer has one pro season under his belt, signing as an undrafted free agent last year with the Washington Redskins, but was released before the regular season. Homer (6’2, 191) appeared in 13 games at Florida Atlantic, primarily on special teams, in two collegiate seasons.
