WINNIPEG – Some stores saw lineups on the weekend after the province changed its public health orders to allowed all retail stores to reopen at 25 per cent capacity.
One shopping mall manager says deals are very good as holiday and winter stock is cleared out.
Chuck Davidson, head of the Manitoba Chambers of Commerce, says what we are seeing is a pent up demand from consumers who haven’t really been shopping in over two months. He’s urging people to be patient so we don’t see a rise again in COVID-19 cases.
