WINNIPEG – A cold front yesterday brought with it a much cooler air mass.

While the very strong northwesterly wind has subsided, a cool northerly wind will continue to blow today. Wind gusts at the airport yesterday reached 87 kilometres an hour. Victoria Beach saw the strongest wind gust at 102.

Some areas are expected to fall below zero by tomorrow morning. Frost advisories will be issued for affected areas later today.
