WINNIPEG – Dozens of people have been evacuated near Beaver Creek Provincial Park because of a wildfire.

A handful of cottages have been damaged and sprinklers are protecting others. The Beaver Creek Bible Camp is also in immediate danger.

No one has been hurt.

The Manitoba Wildfire Service, with the help of area fire departments, is battling the blaze just north of Hecla Island.
