WINNIPEG – Manitoba’s top doctor is expected to announce his new COVID-19 plan early this week, as current code red measures are set to expire on Friday.

Dr. Brent Roussin has said some restrictions will remain in place because daily coronavirus numbers remain too high.

So far, he’s been tight-lipped about whether his rules going forward will be more or less strict.

Retail including restaurants are hoping they can do more business but Roussin just isn’t tipping his hand.

There’s also no indication yet if groups, even very small ones, will be able to gather in homes over the holidays.
