WINNIPEG – The Winnipeg Ice, of the Western Hockey League, looked refreshed and ready to take on their provincial rivals the Brandon Wheat Kings Friday night.

Winnipeg made the short trip down Highway #1 and picked up a 4 – 0 win over the Brandon Wheat Kings. Liam Hughes earns his first career WHL shut out as he stopped all 28 shots he faced in the win.
