WINNIPEG – Winnipeg police have made an arrest in the stabbing death of a man at a restaurant on Pembina Highway.

Two men were stabbed in an altercation at the restaurant on April 15 at about 11:10 pm. 20 year-old Yazan Alhorani died from his injuries and the other victim is in stable condition in hospital.

20 year-old Mahfuthmm Assi was arrested by OPP outside of Kenora and was turned over to Winnipeg Police.

He has been charged with second degree murder and attempted murder.
