Winnipeg Man Stabbed on Notre Dame Ave

WINNIPEG, MB. – A stabbing in Winnipeg in the very early morning hours sent a 30-year-old man to hospital in critical condition.

Sunday, around 1:05 a.m., Winnipeg Police responded to a stabbing that occurred in the 600 block of Notre Dame Ave.

Police said, an altercation between 2 men escalated when a women became involved and stabbed the victim a number of times. A man in his 30’s was taken to hospital in critical condition with significant upper body injuries. His condition has since been upgraded to stable.

Winnipeg police charged a A 31-year-old female with aggravated assault and possession of a weapon and a 30-year-old man with aggravated assault.
