Winnipeg Man Stabs Father During Argument

WINNIPEG – A 53 year-old man is in critical condition after he was allegedly stabbed by his son.

Police responded to a home on Charles Street at about 1:40 this morning and found the victim suffering from stab wound injuries. He was taken to hospital where he remains in stable but critical condition.

It is believed that the victim and his son had an argument that escalated into a physical altercation and the father was stabbed.

25 year-old Cody Mason Pelletier has been charged with assault with a weapon.

He was detained in custody.
