WINNIPEG – A Winnipeg man faces numerous charges regarding the theft of parts from school buses over the summer.
The suspect cut and removed catalytic converters and diesel particulate filters from five school buses with total losses amounting to $56,800. He then attempted to sell the stolen parts for scrap metal.
After investigating, a 38 year-old Winnipeg man was arrested and faces charges of Possess Goods Obtained by Crime Over $5,000 x 3, Trafficking in Stolen Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000 x 3, Possess Goods Obtained by Crime Under $5,000.
