WINNIPEG – A five month investigation into a drug dealing network in Winnipeg has resulted in the arrest of a Selkirk man and a woman from Winnipeg. Police also seized numerous weapons, drugs, thousands of dollars in cash and even a BMW.
The investigation was between March and July of this year. Police identified two people believed to be responsible for a drug dealing network in the city.
On Friday, July 6 a man an woman were arrested. The following items were seized from the vehicle:
- 345 grams of individually wrapped crack cocaine (approx. street value of $43,000)
- 2 cell phones
- Approx. $285 in cash
- A 2016 BMW X5 was also seized.
On the same day, officers executed three search warrants. Numerous items were seized from a home on Partridge Avenue:
- 40 Percocet pills
- 11 grams of marijuana
- .22 Caliber Ruger handgun; loaded
- Box of .22 Caliber Ammunition
- Approx. $8000 in cash
- Packaging materials
- Working scale
- A 2014 Mercedes was also seized from this location.
- Seized from a residence in the 100 block of Collegiate Street:
- Score sheets
- Seized from a residence in the 400 block of Rosser Avenue in Selkirk, Manitoba:
- A 9mmhandgun with two loaded magazines
- Money counter
- Score sheets
- Approx. $30,000 in cash
Police arrested Holly Maia Zullich-Moffat, a 22-year-old woman from Winnipeg, she has been charged with:
- Possession of Loaded Prohibited or Restricted Firearm
- Possess Proceeds of Crime Over $5000
- Possession of Marihuana for Purposes of Trafficking
- Possession of Cocaine for Purposes of Trafficking
- Possession of a Substance for Purposes of Trafficking
- Trafficking – Cocaine X3
Clifford Roderick Allbutt, a 33-year-old man from Selkirk, has been charged with:
- Possession of Cocaine for Purposes of Trafficking
- Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Weapon Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized
- Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Firearm with Ammunition
- Trafficking – Cocaine
