WINNIPEG -Because ridership during the CoVid-19 pandemic is down 72 per cent, the city is making some moves at Winnipeg Transit. 253 bus drivers will be temporarily laid off next month. And starting Monday, May 4th, the weekday bus routes will switch to an enhanced Saturday schedule. The busing on weekends won’t change.
