Winnipeg’s 1st and 2nd Homicide Victims of 2020 Identified

WINNIPEG – Police have identified the victim’s of Winnipeg’s first and second homicides of 2020.

The first victim of 2020 is 49 year-old Reagan Danielle Gross. Police responded to a call on January 10 in the 100 block of Hindley Avenue where they found Reagan in critical condition. She was taken to the hospital where she was pronounced deceased.

34 year-old Kodey Lionel has been charged with Second Degree Murder. He has been detained in custody.

The second homicide victim identified was shot on January 12 at about 3:00 AM at the Windsor Hotel on Garry Street.

20 year-old Yassin Abdu Ahmed was one of three men shot. The other two were taken to hospital in critical condition. No arrests have been made.
