WINNIPEG – On September 24, 2018 at around 7am a woman was assaulted on Osborne Street near Maplewood Avenue. She was walking in the eastbound lane when two men confronted her and knocked her to the ground. One of the men had a gun. They proceeded to try to take her backpack and when a bystander tried to help they pointed their gun at him and then fled.

The victim was taken to the hospital where she was treated for her injuries.
