Woman Hospitalized After Pedestrian Vehicle Collision

PEGUIS FIRST NATION – A 27 year-old woman is in the hospital with life-threatening injuries after she was struck by a car on East Road on Peguis First Nation.

The collision occurred when the victim, a pedestrian, was struck by a vehicle as she was walking on the side of the road at about 11:00 P.M. She was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The 30-year-old female driver was arrested for Impaired Operation of a Vehicle Causing Bodily Harm and charges are pending.

RCMP continue to investigate.
