Woman in Hospital with Life-Threatening Injuries and 16 Year-Old Charged with Impaired Driving

GYPSUMVILLE – An 18 year-old woman is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after a serious single vehicle rollover on Fairford Road, about half kilometre south of the junction of Little Saskatchewan First Nation Main Road.

The vehicle was heading south when it left the road and rolled numerous times. The 18 year-old passenger from Fairford was thrown from the vehicle. The 16 year-old female driver, also from Fairford was not injured and was arrested for Impaired Driving Causing Bodily Harm.

RCMP continue to investigate.
