WINNIPEG – Police are looking for the man responsible for a sexual assault Wednesday on Arlington Street.

An 18-year-old woman told police that she was walking in the 700 block of Arlington Street between Wellington Avenue and Sargent Avenue when she was approached by a man armed with a black handgun.

The woman was sexually assaulted by the man who also threatened to kill her before he took off on foot.

She suffered minor physical injuries and did not require immediate medical attention.

The suspect is described as a dark-skinned male, possibly mulatto, with a large build. He is approximately 6’3″ in height and weighs approximately 250 – 300 lbs. He was wearing all black clothing, a ski mask, and gloves.
