WINNIPEG – Manitoba health minister Heather Stefanson says the chairman of the board at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority will keep his job.
The opposition NDP and Liberals think Wayne McWhirther should resign or the Pallister government should remove him after he travelled to Arizona.
However, according to Stefanson, there are no plans to rescind his appointment when he gets back to Winnipeg.
She went on to say that now isn’t the time for non-essential travel because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
