WINNIPEG – A grocery store was targeted by the same suspect on five different occasions over the summer, committing assaults, thefts and robberies. During one of the robberies, he also pointed a firearm at a store employee. He was also linked to an attempted residential break-in and theft from a pawn shop.
An investigation by members of the Major Crimes Unit identified a suspect linked to all of the crimes. A 17-year-old male from Teulon, Manitoba has been arrested. He has been charged with:
– Armed Robbery Using a Firearm
– Carry Concealed Weapon
– Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
– Point Firearm
– Possess Weapon
– Theft Under $5,000
– Assault
– Break and Enter With Intent
– Assault with a Weapon
He was detained in custody.
